Nearly 700 officials of the previous government, politicians, members of the National Council and some experts have returned to Afghanistan since the establishment of the commission early last year. The Commission for Contact with Afghan Personalities said

Maulavi Ahmadullah Wasiq, the spokesperson of the Commission for Contact with Afghan Personalities announced that since the beginning of the work of this commission, 605 political figures, including ministers, governors, members of parliament, deputies, have returned to the country.
