The Embassy of Japan in Kabul has signed a cooperation memorandum with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) during a meeting to start the half-finished projects of Tetsu Nakamura, a Japanese aid worker.

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees signed a memorandum worth 135 million dollars to help internally displaced persons and returnees.

The Government of Japan has donated USD 7 million in support of UNICEF’s drive to provide life-saving vaccines, addressing urgent needs and rights of Afghanistan’s children and women.
