Archaeologists have revealed new details about the oldest wooden structure discovered in Zambia, which is about half a million years old.

A stone statue dating back to the third century and believed to be of Afghan origin has been seized from a warehouse in the Port of Seattle, western Washington, US officials have confirmed.

The provincial information and culture directorate said in a statement that, officials in Bamyan province have discovered at least 12 items of ancient artifacts.
