Kabul, (AVA)- A training academy for doctors to treat the malnourished patients was established in Ander Agandi child health hospital by the Afghanistan ministry of public health and the world health organization.
Calling the establishing of the training academy as an important step to improve the public health service, Dr Abdul Basir Sarvar, the ministry of public health deputy of office and financial, thanked the world health organization and asked to continue their aids to Afghan ministry of public health.
Dr Ala Alwan, WHO regional director for the Eastern Mediterranean, emphasized on continuing the cooperation with Afghanistan ministry of public health.
Dr Ala Alwan is going to take part in cross border "Eradicate Polio" meeting with the aim of eradicating the polio in Afghanistan and Pakistan held in Kabul.
