8,000 treatments and 800 free eye surgeries launched in Kabul
The Afghan Red Crescent Society announced the start of free eye treatment at the Afghan Red Crescent Central Hospital in Kabul on Wednesday.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: According to the Afghan Red Crescent Society, Shahabuddin Delawar, the head of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, also attended the inauguration ceremony of the process, which is being launched in collaboration with the Al-Basr International Charity Foundation at the Afghan Red Crescent Society's central hospital.
At the ceremony, Delawar thanked the Al-Basr Charity Foundation, adding that it has always supported the needy compatriots.
The program will provide eye examinations and treatment to 8,000 people and free surgery to 800 people.
The treatment process starts today and will continue until October 11 this year.
