Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: A coordination meeting of media officials and representatives and press officials of the country’s political, security, and defense departments was held today (Wednesday, December 4) at the Government Information and Media Center.
In this meeting, Heshmatullah Naseri, Deputy Director of the Government Information and Media Center, emphasized strengthening bilateral cooperation between the country’s media and government departments.
Nasseri said that the Government Media Center, as a bridge between government institutions and the media, is always trying to increase the level of cooperation and coordination between the two sides in the field of information and solving existing problems.
The Deputy Minister of the Government Media Center added: In order to properly reflect the achievements of the system, it is necessary to strengthen cooperation and coordination between government institutions and the media, and we are trying to hold coordination meetings between department spokespeople and media officials so that, on the one hand, the problems of the media in accessing information can be solved, and on the other hand, a better basis can be provided for reflecting the achievements.
Subsequently, officials and representatives of the country's media spoke in turn and considered holding such meetings to be an appropriate measure in order to strengthen the level of cooperation and interaction between government agencies and the media, and evaluated the results of the coordination meetings positively.
On the other hand, officials of the press department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Defense and Interior Affairs also spoke in turn and announced that they will make every effort to reflect the achievements, access to information, and strengthen mutual cooperation with the media in order to resolve existing problems in this area and accelerate the information process.
It is worth noting that the Government Information and Media Center recently began a series of coordination meetings between media officials and government department spokespeople with the aim of accelerating access to information and strengthening cooperation.
