Introduction of 25 new tourism sites in Badakhshan province
The Ministry of Information and Culture has registered and introduced 25 new tourism sites with natural attractions in nine districts of Badakhshan province.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) _ Mazar-e-Sharif: Engineer Zabihullah Amiri, the head of information and culture of Badakhshan province, announced the visit of the Ministry of Information and Culture delegation to the province and said the purpose of the delegation's visit was to register new tourism sites in the province for the growth of the tourism industry in the country. new tourist and historical sites have been introduced and registered in 9 districts.
 
He said these new areas are separate from the tourism areas registered in the past. He said the sites had already been investigated by officials and introduced to the Ministry of Information and Culture.
 
Amiri added that the 25 new tourist destinations in Badakhshan province will be very effective in attracting domestic and foreign tourists, growing the country's tourism industry and the people's economy.
 
Meanwhile, officials of the tourism director of the Badakhshan Information and Culture Department say that extensive publicity and documentation will be done to introduce new tourism sites to highlight these areas to attract domestic and foreign tourists.
 
It is worth mentioning that the registered tourism sites are in Shaghnan, Yamgan, Baharak, Arghanjkhah, Wakhan, Zibak, Karan and Manjan, Kashm and Ashkasham districts of Badakhshan province.
There are also some tourist sites that have not been discovered and registered due to the difficult passage of some areas in the province.
