Continuing the government's accountability program; Officials from the Kabul Municipality said that the agency collected more than 6 billion Afghanis in revenue last year and said that 125 kilometers of roads have been built in Kabul.

He announced the completion of the 2,500-meter-long Jabbar Khan Road, the 273-meter-long Pul-e-Charkhi search area canal building and the 511-meter-long third-party canal building. One thousand 297 meters have been completed and put into operation.
 
The deputy minister of urban services of Kabul Municipality said that the construction of the canal from the airport crossroads to the customs road, which is 2,194 meters long, is one of the activities of the department during the past year.
 
He also considered the establishment of infrastructure, urban order and greenery in Kabul as the most important priorities of the department, adding that two million seedlings have been planted in the past year to expand green areas in Kabul.
 
Meanwhile, Nematullah Barakzai, advisor to cultural affairs of Kabul Municipality, said that 5,000 roadside lights were installed and activated and 9,700 light poles were repaired in different parts of Kabul. In the city areas, painting public and side roads, and collecting and moving 2,680 barriers from different parts of Kabul are among the activities of the department in the past year.
 
He said 141 parks were active in Kabul, adding; The plan is to build a large recreation area for all citizens of Nader Khan Hill. So far, the road has been built and the construction of sidewalks, a clinic and a hotel is also underway.
 
Mr. Barakzai said that 75 percent of the buildings in Kabul were substandard and said; The department plans to reduce this percentage and make Kabul a standard city.
 
The official said that the Kabul Municipality transported 526,000 tons of garbage from Kabul to Gazak area last year and buried it properly. The non-standard nature of Kabul has made it difficult for the department to collect garbage from the city.
 
The advisor of the department reported collecting 6 billion 153 million 980 thousand 459 Afghanis in revenues during the past year, adding that 3 thousand 403 jeribs of usurped land were also confiscated during this period.
 
Meanwhile, Mohammad Qasim Afghan, head of the Kabul Municipality's Standards, Policy, Monitoring and Evaluation Department, said the cleaning of crowded areas in different parts of the city from the presence of street vendors and Karachis said: classes without a trade union license have also been temporarily suspended.
 
He said that 11 thousand 957 different classes have been issued licenses in 22 districts of Kabul, 102 markets and 11 oil and gas stations have been registered and coal will be distributed to the residents of Kabul in winter.
 
Officials of the municipality reported blocking 625 high-rise buildings due to lack of air filters, collecting 205 thousand 577 kilograms of expired food and poor quality detergents in the past year, adding that the wastewater flow of 825 high-rise buildings was cut off. and residential houses to the Kabul Sea, as well as the distribution of 8,872 health cards to environmental health and environmental trade unions are also among the achievements of the department in one year.
