Miscreants arrested for tearing Shiite mourning flags in western Kabul
Security sources in Kabul say they have arrested people who were lowering Shia flags and introducing themselves as security forces to the public in the sixth district of Kabul.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: An official of the sixth intelligence zone of Kabul told Hindu Kush Voice that the three men were members of the "evil and corruption" group and their aim was to provoke Shiites.
 
The video confesses that one of the men was carrying out destructive activities under the leadership of Yasin Zia. Meanwhile, under Zia's direction, they stopped military activities and ordered them to pull down and tear mourning flags, which they did in constituencies 13, 5 and 6 on two nights, on the third night of They were arrested by intelligence forces near the White Mosque in the Qala-e-Wazir area in western Kabul.
 
According to the source, during the investigation, it was revealed that similar actions were carried out by these people in other parts of Kabul and the aim of this was to arouse the feelings of Shia citizens.
 
This is while the Islamic Emirate has stressed that there are no restrictions on Shia ceremonies and in addition to Kabul, other provinces of the country where Shia citizens live have also been given full assurance of holding Ashura mourning ceremonies.
 
This week, the Islamic Emirate's Interior Ministry also announced that Shia citizens could safely hold their ceremonies.
 
Three members of the "Evil and Corruption" are arrested in Kabul, while special intelligence forces also arrested two members of the group in Nuristan province.
