China denied establishing a military base in Tajikistan
The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry denied the reports that this country is trying to establish a military base on the territory of Tajikistan to monitor Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): In a press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian denied reports that the country is trying to establish a military base in Tajikistan to monitor possible security threats in Afghanistan.

In response to a question about the "Telegraph" report, he clarified: China is committed to an independent and peaceful foreign policy and does not have any military bases in Central Asia.

The British newspaper "Telegraph" previously wrote that satellite images show that China is building a secret military base on the border of Tajikistan and Afghanistan to monitor possible threats.

It should be noted that China has established close relations with the Islamic Emirate after the fall of the previous government, and the state and private companies of this country have signed contracts with the current government for the extraction of several large mines and oil extraction in the past three years.
