Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The embassy of the Islamic Emirate in Islamabad has published a newsletter saying that the delegation of the embassy met Maria Qazi, head of foreign trade at the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan.

In this meeting, the delegation of the Islamic Emirate considered the additional tax on Afghanistan's fruit and vegetables to be harmful for Afghan businessmen and Pakistani markets.

Protests have been going on since October last year in the Chaman border area and the protesters want to remove visa and passport requirements for travel to Afghanistan.

These protests have also disrupted the transfer of goods and food. Besides this, Pakistan has recently imposed an additional tax on some goods from Afghanistan.
