The President of Ukraine dismissed the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the country
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, dismissed the commander of the Joint Forces Command of the country's army, Yuri Sudol, due to the opposition of the Ukrainian military leaders.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Zelenskiy, the commander of the Joint Staff of the Ukrainian Army, dismissed this Ukrainian military official and nominated Andriy Gnatov as his successor, following many requests to dismiss the army commander.

It has been said that his critics believe that with his incompetence "he has killed more Ukrainian soldiers than any other Russian general."

In a video message published on his official Telegram channel, the President of Ukraine said: I have decided to replace Andriy Gnatov as the Commander of the Joint Staff of the Ukrainian Army, Yuri Sodol.

On Monday, after meeting with Ukrainian military commanders, Zelensky said he would expel Sodol immediately. The Ukrainian president did not give a reason for his decision, but lower circles in the Ukrainian chain of command have long called for his removal.

As the commander of the Joint Forces Command of Ukraine, Sodol supervised the operations of the country's army, navy and air force, and in the hierarchy of the Ukrainian armed forces, he considered himself accountable only to "Alexander Sersky", the chief of the general staff of the country's armed forces.

In this regard, the temporary commander of the Azov Battalion in the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced in a message on his Telegram channel that he asked the intelligence and security services of this country to start an investigation about the incompetence of this Ukrainian commander.

In this message, the temporary commander of the Azov battalion wrote: "In my opinion, Sodol has killed more Ukrainian soldiers than any other Russian general and has not had any positive role in Ukraine's military achievements in the war."

Since the beginning of the Ukrainian war in February 2022, Zelensky has fired his senior commanders in response to Ukraine's defeats on the battlefield.

According to Isna, the President of Ukraine dismissed "Valery Zalogeny" the official appointed to the current post of Sodol following the heavy failure of the summer counterattack of the country's armed forces at the beginning of this year.
