Iran considered Canada
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemned Canada's hostile action against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Iranian media, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, "Nasser Kanani", on Thursday strongly condemned the political, unconventional and unwise action of the Canadian government in declaring the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist.

Kanani considered this ill-considered decision of the Canadian government as a hostile move and against the standards and accepted principles of international law, including the equality of sovereigns and non-interference in the internal affairs of governments, and an example of an attack on Iran's national sovereignty.

Kanani added: This irresponsible and provocative move is along the wrong path that the Canadian government has taken over the last decade under the influence of war mongers and real violators of human rights and the main founders of terrorism.

The spokesman of Iran's diplomatic establishment stated that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is a sovereign institution that emerged from the text of the Iranian nation and has an official and legal identity issued from the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which, along with other elements of the armed forces, is responsible for guarding the national security and borders of the country as well as It is responsible for contributing to stable security and stability in the region by confronting the sinister phenomenon of terrorism.

Kanani emphasized: the disgusting action of the Canadian government against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has no effect on producing legitimate and deterrent power and increasing the level and scope of the authority of this proud force that emerged from the context of the Iranian nation.

Kanani announced: The Islamic Republic of Iran reserves its rights in a proportionate and reciprocal response to this action against international law and against the Iranian nation and government.

The Canadian government officially declared the IRGC a "terrorist organization" last night.

Canada's Minister of Public Security, Dominic LeBlanc, said that as a result of this decision, IRGC commanders and forces are prohibited from entering Canada, and if they are in this country, they may be investigated and deported if necessary.

After the United States, Canada is the second country to declare the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist.

Before this, the Canadian government had included the Quds Force, the overseas branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in the list of terrorist groups.
