Zabihullah Mujahid: Afghanistan is a country free from corruption
The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate said that Afghanistan is a corruption-free country in response to the new report of the Transparency International Organization that Afghanistan has fallen to 162nd place by 20 points in the 2023 anti-corruption index.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, wrote on X social network that Afghanistan is a country free from corruption.

He also added: Compared to last year, Afghanistan has dropped 4 degrees, it does not mean that corruption has increased in Afghanistan, but the level of transparency of some countries may have increased.

According to the new report of Transparency International, Afghanistan has fallen to 162nd place with 20 points in the 2023 anti-corruption index. In 2022, Afghanistan was ranked 150 among 180 countries with the same score.

Meanwhile, in 2021, Afghanistan was ranked 174th among 180 countries in the world with sixteen points.

In this report, Denmark is the cleanest country in the world with 90 points, and Finland with 87 points and New Zealand with 85 points are in second and third place respectively.
