He continued: Iran, within the framework of its constructive view of maximum participation in the capacities of bilateral cooperation and multilateral regional mechanisms to improve conditions in Afghanistan, has proposed ideas that have been welcomed by the countries of the region.
The spokesperson of Iran's Foreign Ministry emphasized once again that regional mechanisms with the role of neighboring countries with the support of the United Nations in Afghanistan can help create better conditions in Afghanistan.
He pointed out that Iran continues its efforts to help Afghanistan, and in this regard, it has made its consultations available to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan as well as neighboring countries to establish regional multilateral mechanisms and will continue these consultations.
Regarding the details of the regional cooperation meeting for Afghanistan with the presence of special representatives and ambassadors of neighboring and regional countries in Kabul, Kanani said that we should wait for this meeting and the details and probably its final statement.
According to some reports, the special representatives of Iran, Pakistan, China and Russia are supposed to participate in the regional cooperation meeting for Afghanistan in Kabul, but last night, Tahir Khan, a Pakistani journalist, announced that Asif Durrani, Pakistan's special representative will not participate in the meeting and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Pakistan Embassy in Kabul will attend the meeting in his place, but this has not been confirmed by official sources.
