Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: On Saturday (December 23) the Tehran International Conference on Palestinian Developments was held with the presence of senior officials of some Islamic and non-Islamic countries at the ministerial level, as well as some media activists from 69 countries of the world, including Afghanistan was hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Sa'ad Abad Palace Hafiziya complex in Tehran. Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, was also present in this conference and gave a speech.
In his speech in Dari Farsi at this conference, while thanking the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran for this initiative to hold an international conference on Palestinian developments, Mawlavi Motaghi said: "At the very moment I am giving a speech, a Palestinian youth living in Gaza is martyred."
This is exactly the 78th day that the indiscriminate massacre and genocide of the people of Gaza has been going on, and the stream that gives a damn about human rights, human values and justice is watching this brutal massacre.
Criticizing the dual policies and approaches of Western countries and human rights organizations, he stated: We live in the age of the biggest contradictions. In a world where countries are sanctioned under the pretext of violating the most detailed human issues and also for political reasons, by using the discussion of human rights, but at the same time, the non-stop genocide of a nation by a regime that violates all human limits and standards. If he goes too far in the war, he will not be criticized in the slightest.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate continued: Despite dozens of conventions on human rights and humanitarian issues, during 78 days, nearly 20 thousand people in Gaza, more than half of whom are women and children, have been massacred. But the same conventions are used in other cases for political and instrumental reasons.
He further raised this question: Is the current world order, which was founded after the Second World War, in spite of all these contradictions, responsive to the global needs of the 21st century? Can the 21st century human wisdom be played with all these double behaviors and multiple criteria? I think that the conscious and awake human conscience cannot be satisfied with these double behaviors!
Therefore, Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi emphasized: We need a new world order that is based on justice and equality, an order in which no human or country's rights are waived and there is no possibility of political abuses, an order that May the world bring peace, justice and stability. The conscience of today's man cannot be kept asleep by all these contradictions.
He stated: After the genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza and the free hand of the Zionist regime, this great contradiction has been sufficiently clarified and with this situation, a change in the world order is certain.
This senior official of the Islamic Emirate further pointed out the contradiction in the global approach regarding the current government of Afghanistan and said: It is very ridiculous when you see that my country, Afghanistan, after more than 4 decades of invasions by foreign countries and war and chaos towards Security and stability are taking steps, with the application of human rights, sanctions are imposed.
Based on this, he continued: How can an Afghan man be aligned with this double standard?
Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi further said: The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as a military that arose from the text of its people and with the help of Allah and the resistance of the Mujahid and heroic people of Afghanistan, was able to end the 20-year occupation of America and NATO in Afghanistan, today the suffering of the Palestinian Muslims He feels it with his heart and soul. We, who have been the victims of international contradictions for many years, consider ourselves more than any other nation to share in the pain and suffering of the Muslim nation of Palestine.
He emphasized: The issue of Palestine is not limited to the people of this country, but it is an Arab, Islamic, and ultimately human issue. No free person who believes in justice and human values can watch the Zionist regime's atrocities on Palestine.
Therefore, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as a part of the Islamic Ummah, has always condemned the ongoing atrocities of the Zionist regime in Gaza and occupied Palestine and considers the struggle of the Palestinian nation as a legitimate and legal matter based on Sharia texts and international law.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate pointed out: The Islamic Emirate wants the influential countries of the Islamic world to play a more effective role in ending the killing of innocent Palestinian people by the Zionist regime and to hold this regime responsible. The Islamic world should unite and raise the voice of the freedom of Palestine and not allow political differences in this matter. Today's initiative of the Islamic Republic of Iran is commendable, but there is still a need for more countries in the region to take action so that we can stop the indiscriminate killing of the oppressed Palestinian people.
In the end, he stated: This effort should be until time Continue to reach a permanent and just solution to the Palestinian issue, a solution that will result in the Palestinian people having a government that will be established in the historical land of Palestine. The Islamic Emirate is ready to accompany the Islamic world in this Islamic and humanitarian matter to the best of its ability.
At the same time, Ayatollah Salehi, the head of the Shia Ulema Council, as well as Nazar Mohammad Mosin, an expert on political issues and the former head of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of the Islamic Emirate, were among the other Afghan figures present at this international conference.
