Iran rejected the baseless accusations of England
Following the baseless claims of the British representative, Iran's ambassador and permanent representative in a letter to the head of the Security Council, while rejecting these baseless accusations, pointed out the essential role of England in the long-term suffering and discomfort of the Palestinian people.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: According to the foreign policy group of Fars news agency, following the baseless claims of the British representative in the briefing session of the UN Security Council on Palestine against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the ambassador and permanent representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Amir Saeed Irwani, in a letter to the head of the UN Security Council and the Secretary General of this organization, strongly condemned and rejected these accusations.
The British representative claimed at the Security Council meeting that Iran is a threat to the region through its destabilizing activities and support for proxy groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and Islamic Jihad.
This letter states: I would like to strongly condemn and reject the baseless accusations of the British representative against my country in the public briefing session of the United Nations Security Council held on November 29, 2023 under the title of the situation in the Middle East, including Palestine. In his speech at this meeting, Mr. Tariq Ahmed, the Minister of Interior of England, while ignoring the responsibility of his country in the current situation of the Middle East and destabilizing policies of England, tried to blame the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It is stated in the said letter: Undoubtedly, Britain has played a major role in the long-term suffering and discomfort of the Palestinian people. The ominous roots of this ordeal can be traced back to the Balfour Declaration, which marked the beginning of nearly a century of hardship for the Palestinians.
In this letter, Irvani noted: Britain's continuous and unwavering support of Israel's genocidal crimes and aggressions against the Palestinian people and the countries of the region significantly reduces this country's moral authority to issue a license to judge the intentions and policies of others./Fars News
