The second meeting of special representatives of countries regarding Afghanistan will be held
Zamir Kabulov, the representative of the Russian President in Afghanistan, said that the United Nations is going to hold a meeting for the second time with the presence of the special representatives of the countries in Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Zamir Kabulov told TASS news agency that the meeting of special representatives of countries regarding Afghanistan will be held in coordination with the United Nations.
 
Kabulov added: "We and our regional partners remember that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres intended to bring together special representatives of countries, as he did in Doha in the spring."
 
He did not provide details about the time and place of this meeting.
 
According to Kabulov, Ferydon Sinirlioglu, the UN Secretary General's special coordinator for Afghanistan affairs, has provided his report on Afghanistan to the countries' special representatives.
 
At the same time, the special representatives of the countries in Afghanistan held a meeting on Afghanistan in Doha on May 1-2 this year.
 
This meeting was held at the initiative of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
 
In this meeting, the special representatives of Russia, Great Britain, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, China, Norway, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, America, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France, Japan and Representatives from the European Union and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation were also present.
 
At that time, UN officials said that this meeting was held to solve the challenges in Afghanistan.
