The high-ranking delegation of the Islamic Emirate returned to Kabul after a week-long trip to Iran with a great achievement
The high-ranking delegation of the Islamic Emirate, headed by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the economic deputy of the Prime Minister's Department, returned to Kabul on Friday night, November 10, after his six-day trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Mullah Baradar says that he returned to Kabul with a great achievement from this trip.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: After the delegation arrived in Kabul, the economic deputy of the ministry told reporters at the Kabul International Airport: "During the trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran, we met with the high-ranking officials of that country and in addition We visited Chabahar port and some industrial and production factories. The purpose of our trip was to find an easier and cheaper way to export Afghan products and import them, so that Afghanistan's trade can increase."
Mullah Baradar added that during this trip, some memorandums were signed in the fields of trade, industry, transit, oil, transportation, railway network, telecommunications and information technology, which is a great achievement for both countries in the field of industry and trade.
 
The Economic Deputy Office of the Prime Minister's Office has noted that a one-month deadline has been set for the work teams of both sides to pursue these agreements.
At the end of this trip, 5 memorandums were signed between the two parties in different economic sectors;
1- The memorandum of understanding of the meeting of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between the two countries, which was signed between the Minister of Agricultural Jihad of Iran and the Chairman of the Joint Commission for Cooperation between the two countries and Mullah Mohammad Nasser Akhund, the Minister of Finance of the Islamic Emirate.
2- Minutes of the International Road Cooperation Committee meeting, which was signed by Engineer Mir Shafi, the representative of Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development in Afghanistan and Mr. Weiss from the Islamic Emirate.
3- Memorandum of understanding on cooperation between Civil Aviation Organization, which was signed again by Engineer Mir Shafi and Mr. Weiss.
4- Memorandum of understanding of cooperation between Zob Ahan Isfahan Company and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate, which was signed by Engineer Kohi, the CEO of this company, and Mohammadullah Agha Bakhtiar from the Islamic Emirate.
5- The Memorandum of Understanding between the Free Zones of the two countries, which was signed by Hojatullah Abdul Maliki, Advisor to the President and Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free Zones of Iran, and Nuruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate.
 
On the other hand, during this trip, officials of Iran's Chabahar port assured the Afghan delegation that Afghanistan can practically use Chabahar port for trade, export, import and transit right now.
In this case, Nuruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade, told reporters at Kabul airport: "It was promised that Afghanistan can start importing and exporting through Chabahar port from tomorrow."
He added that the Economic Vice President of Iran also promised in his meeting with the Economic Vice President of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that during his trip to China, he will discuss Afghanistan's connection to the One Belt One Road project and the construction of the Wakhan Corridor with senior Chinese officials. The route is the historical silk road.
