The Ministry of Defense has provided more than 36 million Afghanis to the Herat earthquake victims

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Inayatullah Khwarazmi, the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Emirate, told AVA that the Ministry has provided more than 36 million and 574 thousand Afghanis to the victims of the Herat earthquake.
 
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense added that this cash assistance is intended for the construction of residential houses for the earthquake victims of Herat Province.
 
According to his words, the Ministry of National Defense had previously donated 10 million Afghanis to the Herat earthquake victims.
 
According to the statistics of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid; In two earthquakes of 15 and 19, 1,800 people were killed and 1,950 were injured.
 
However, the United Nations announced on Sunday that urgent aid is still needed for the earthquake victims to address the serious and sensitive problems of the victims.
 
This organization said that about 93 million dollars are needed to help the earthquake victims, and only 24 million dollars have been delivered or promised to be paid.
