Iran's 35 billion aid to Herat earthquake victims/ sending the fourth aid package of the country's Red Crescent to Afghanistan

Especially the innocent women and children of Gaza, since October 2, 2023, has announced two campaigns of humanitarianism and Aftab Kindness.
 
Salimi added: These two campaigns have been implemented with the aim of collecting cash donations from the philanthropic people of Iran to the two countries of Palestine and Afghanistan through the announcement of Red Crescent account numbers at the central and national banks.
 
He continued: From the beginning of the official announcement of the campaigns on October 8 until Friday October 20, that is, within 12 days from the beginning of the calls, a total of 174 billion 813 million 552 thousand 726 rials were donated by the people to the account numbers The official Red Crescent Society has been deposited.
 
The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Volunteers Organization stated: Of the total amounts deposited, 139 billion and 100 million rials are related to the humanitarian campaign and help to the oppressed people of Palestine, and 35 billion and 713 million rials are related to the Aftab Mehrabani campaign and helping the earthquake victims of Afghanistan.
 
At the same time, the Taibad Red Crescent Society of Razavi Khorasan Province of Iran has announced that the fourth shipment of aid from the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, weighing 40 tons, has been sent to the earthquake victims of Afghanistan from the "Dogharun" border in the east of Razavi Khorasan.
 
Hadi Ramezani, the head of Taibad Red Crescent Society of Khorasan Razavi province of Iran, said that this cargo was collected by the people of Taibad city/district and distributed to "Zande Jan" earthquake affected areas in Herat province.
 
He added: The donated items include all kinds of food, oil, rice, canned goods, blankets and carpets weighing 40 tons, which are imported into Afghanistan.
 
The head of the Red Crescent Society, Taibad, added that in the previous three stages, 690 tons of donated goods were sent from Iran to the earthquake-stricken people of Afghanistan with 26 large truck trailers.
 
Ramezani added: During the call of the Red Crescent Society across the country, people's aid from other provinces/provinces to the earthquake-affected areas of Afghanistan continues, and in the coming days, a number of trucks will be sent to the earthquake-affected villages of Herat province from the official Dogharun crossing.
 
He said: "In this regard, several other trucks are ready to send all kinds of goods in the warehouse of the Red Crescent Society of Taibad to the earthquake-affected areas of Afghanistan, Herat."
