Nasir Ahmad Faieq calls for serious attention to Afghan migrant in neighbouring countries
Acting representative of Afghanistan at the United Nations, Nasir Ahmad Faieq has expressed grave concern about the situation of Afghan migrants in other countries.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Mr Faieq voiced his concerns about the situation of Afghan migrants in neighbouring countries during Wednesday’s United Nations session on growth and the protection of human rights.

He added that Afghan migrants and refugees in neighbouring countries, especially those without documents, face unfavourable conditions and need serious attention.

According to Mr. Faieq, many undocumented Afghan migrants in Pakistan who are illegally present require essential services, including healthcare, education, and legal employment.

The acting representative of Afghanistan at the United Nations also noted that many migrant children are not allowed to attend school, and their families cannot afford the cost of education.

Furthermore, Mr. Faieq called for serious attention to the collective and systematic punishment of the Hazara community.

These concerns come when international reactions regarding the forced deportation of Afghan migrants from Pakistan continue to unfold.
