Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Lotfullah Khairkhah, Deputy Scientific Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Islamic Emirate, said that the meeting will focus on creating opportunities and solving problems in Afghanistan's agriculture sector.
Domestic and foreign experts and professors of the country's universities are supposed to share their plans for the growth of agriculture in the country in the upcoming meeting of the Green Revolution.
Lotfullah Khairkhah said about this meeting that Afghanistan is an agricultural country and it can be self-sufficient in this field.
According to the scientific deputy of the Ministry of Higher Education, the priority for the growth of Afghanistan is through agriculture because Afghanistan is 80% agricultural.
Safiullah Johar, head of the Faculty of Agriculture at Kabul University, said: "The climate is changing. Water is running out all over the world. However, should we use the same old plan or should the new plan be used for water management agriculture?"
The representatives of the sectorial ministries have assured in this meeting that they are ready to cooperate with the organizers of this meeting and the agriculture sector of Afghanistan in any situation.
