Hamid Karzai and Thomas West discussed intra-Afghan understanding for sustainable peace in Afghanistan

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: According to a statement published on Mr. Karzai's X page on Friday (September 15), the former president of Afghanistan had a video conference with Thomas West, the special representative of the United States of America for Afghanistan affairs, about issues They talked about inter-Afghan understanding for lasting peace and consolidation of stability in the country and hoped that the ground for this understanding would be provided as soon as possible.

 

The two sides also emphasized the importance of education for girls and boys for the economic development and bright future of Afghanistan, and Karzai has once again asked the US to cooperate in providing educational opportunities for Afghan youth.
