Ambassador of Japan in Kabul: The world is ready to cooperate with the Islamic Emirate in various fields
Takashi Okada, the ambassador of Japan in Kabul, in a meeting with Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, said that the world is interested in cooperating with the Islamic Emirate in the fields of climate change, water management, fighting terrorism and preserving cultural heritage.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Zia Ahmad Takal, Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, announced on Monday night, September 4, 2023, on the X social page, the meeting of the Japanese ambassador with Amir Khan Muttaqi, the acting head of the ministry.
 
According to Takashi Okada's claim, in this meeting, he provided information to Amir Khan Muttaqi about the second meeting of the United Nations Security Council.
 
Okada added: "We want to listen to your requests so that we can seriously discuss them at the next meeting."
 
Meanwhile, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate said that the Acting Government is pursuing goals in order to strengthen diplomatic relations with the countries of the region.
 
Muttaqi stated: "The Taliban made great progress in ensuring security, developing political and economic relations, banning drugs, treating drug addicts, and providing health services, and now there is an opportunity to build trust."
 
The ambassador of Japan talks about the cooperation of the world in the field of climate change with the Islamic Emirate, while Afghanistan has witnessed huge losses due to climate change in the last few years.
 
According to information from international institutions, Afghanistan is one of the countries in South Asia that has suffered the most damage due to recent droughts.
