Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: A strong earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale (internal earth waves) shook Takhar and other neighboring provinces at 9:05 am local time today.
According to the International Seismological Base, the epicenter of this earthquake was 49 km from the center of Kolfgan district of Takhar province.
According to reports, this earthquake occurred at a depth of 187 km from the surface of the earth.
This earthquake has shaken Kabul, the capital of the country, and parts of Pakistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
So far, there have been no reports of casualties and possible damages from this earthquake.
