The Moscow format meeting will be held with the presence of representatives of the Islamic Emirate
Zamir Kabulov, the special representative of the Russian president for Afghanistan, announced that in the near future a meeting of the Moscow format will be held with the presence of representatives of the Islamic Emirate.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Zamir Kabulov, director of the second Asian department of the Russian Foreign Ministry and Putin's special representative for Afghanistan, said in an interview with the media that no progress has been made in the field of the Islamic Emirate's rule in Afghanistan.
 
The special representative of Russia for Afghanistan has added that the issue of inclusiveness of the Islamic Emirate government will be at the top of the agenda of the upcoming Moscow meeting on Afghanistan.
 
Stating that the delegation of the Islamic Emirate will also participate in the upcoming "Moscow Format" meeting, he added that the fight against terrorism and drug-related crimes will also be discussed and exchanged in this meeting.
 
The meeting is scheduled to be held on September 29 in Kazan, Russia.
 
It should be noted that the previous meeting of the Moscow format on Afghanistan was held in Moscow last November. This meeting was established in 2017 to promote the process of national reconciliation in Afghanistan and includes representatives of Russia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
