Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai met with the Iranian ambassador in Kabul
Hamid Karzai, the president of Afghanistan in the previous regime, in a meeting with Hassan Kazemi Qomi, the ambassador and special representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Afghanistan affairs, asked Tehran to continue its cooperation in order to expand the field of education for Afghan girls and boys.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Hamid Karzai, the president of the country in the previous regime, wrote on his Facebook page that he met with Mr. Hassan Kazemi Qomi, the ambassador and special representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Afghanistan affairs.
 
Mr. Karzai wrote that in this meeting, "in addition to the discussion and exchange of views on the current situation in Afghanistan and the region, he thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for welcoming millions of Afghan immigrants over many years and for providing education and training for young people." He has expressed his gratitude to Afghanistan and helping the people of Afghanistan.
 
Mr. Karzai also requested the continuation of the cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in order to expand the field of education for Afghan boys and girls.
