In a meeting attended by Red Crescent officials from Turkey, Qatar, England, Australia, Canada, Germany, Norway, Finland, Denmark and the World Federation of National Populations in Turkey, the head of the Afghan Red Crescent asked the international community to help the people of Afghanistan beyond political issues.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: This joint meeting of the Afghan Red Crescent with the officials of the Red Crescent countries of Turkey, Qatar, England, Australia, Canada, Germany, Norway, Finland, Denmark and the World Federation of National Populations was held in Turkey.
 
In this meeting, the current situation in Afghanistan, humanitarian activities in this country, attracting humanitarian aid and a number of other issues were discussed.
 
Maulavi Mati-ul-Haq Khalis, Acting General Director of the Afghan Red Crescent, spoke at the Turkish meeting about treating children with heart holes, helping the needy, arresting widowed and orphaned families, treating and supporting the mentally ill, increasing the number of volunteers and helping the families of drug addicts. He said: Afghanistan has been facing humanitarian and economic crises for years and needs help and arrests in many fields. We ask the international community to help the people of Afghanistan beyond political issues.
 
According to Bakhtar, Alexander Mitiu, head of the International Federation of National Populations of the Pacific countries, addressed the participants of this meeting and said: "It is necessary for the national populations to help Afghans and encourage them to cooperate with the Afghan Red Crescent in financing humanitarian aid and supporting projects, to meet with the relevant authorities of their countries and not to ignore the Afghans who have been severely affected economically and spiritually."
 
The participants of this meeting appreciated the activities and achievements of the Afghan Red Crescent and expressed their desire for joint cooperation. In this meeting, the current human problems in Afghanistan and their solution were discussed, the participants pledged to cooperate with the Afghan Red Crescent.
