The first round of the Central Asia (CAFA) football competition in the adult age category started with the participation of seven teams and hosted by Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on Saturday, June 10.
In these competitions, the national football teams of Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan are present as permanent members of the Central Asian Football Federation and the national team of Oman as guests.
Afghanistan was grouped with Kyrgyzstan and Iran in group (B) of this tournament.
