Zelensky: We are ready to start the operation to liberate the territories occupied by Russia

It has been said that Kiev hopes to change the conditions of the war and change some of the equations in Ukraine's favor by counterattacking to regain its territory. The war that started about 15 months ago with the Russian military invasion ordered by Vladimir Putin.
 
Earlier, Zelensky said last month that Ukraine should wait for more armored vehicles from the western countries and then launch its counterattack. Since the beginning of the Ukrainian war, Mr. Zelenksy has made many efforts to receive more military aid and weapons from Western countries.
 
Currently, Russia owns parts of Ukraine in the south-east and southeast of this country.
 
With the arrival of summer and relatively stable weather ahead, many analysts are talking about the imminent counterattack of Ukraine against the Russian army. In the past few weeks, in this regard, Ukraine has increased its attacks on Russian ammunition depots and logistics routes.
 
The Ukrainian military said in a daily report on Saturday that Marinka in the eastern Donetsk region was at the center of the fighting. The report states that Ukrainian forces repelled all 14 Russian military attacks there.
 
This is while a few days ago, after months of fighting, Russia managed to take control of the city of Bakhmut and evict the Ukrainian forces from it.
