Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Associated Press has published a collection of images and a video that apparently shows some fighters from Kiev on the front lines in the Donetsk region. In one of these images, a soldier identified by this American news agency as the commander of a Ukrainian unit named Kurt can be seen with an ISIS symbol on his left arm.
According to Russia Today, this is not the first time that the military and paramilitary forces of Kyiv have been seen with extremist symbols and Nazi tattoos. According to the report, these individuals were often personally connected to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Earlier this week, he posted several photos of Kiev soldiers on his Instagram, in one of which a Nazi symbol can be seen on the arm of a soldier.
Meanwhile, Kiev denies the presence of any Nazi elements in the Ukrainian army and calls it Russian propaganda. But Moscow has repeatedly said that Kiev welcomes fighters with neo-Nazi and extreme nationalist views. One such example is the integration of the notorious Azov regiment into the Ukrainian National Guard.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has always said that the de-Nazification of Ukraine was one of the main reasons why Russia finally decided to start military operations in Ukraine in late February 2022.
