Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Russian TASS news agency on Friday (February 3) quoted Zamir Kabulov as saying: "A meeting on Afghanistan will be held with the presence of the secretaries of the security councils of Central Asian countries, Pakistan, India and China."
Kabulov did not elaborate on the objectives of the meeting, but added that "regional partners" will discuss Afghanistan.
In this conversation, the special representative of the Russian President for Afghanistan did not say anything about inviting the leaders of the Islamic Emirate to this meeting.
The secretaries of the security councils of the countries that are going to attend this meeting have already discussed Afghanistan in Russia, India and Tajikistan, especially the concerns about the spread of terrorism.
Zamir Kabulov, who visited Kabul and Islamabad at the end of July, said that Russia is not interested in interfering in the internal affairs of Afghanistan, in a meeting with Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate.
However, in response to Kabulov, the Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate said that the Islamic Emirate follows the recommendations and guidance of the Russian government and is interested in expanding relations.
