EU foreign ministers will discuss the situation of five countries including Afghanistan
The EU foreign ministers will discuss the situation of Iran, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Utopia and Montenegro in a meeting today (Monday, January 23).
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: This meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Josep Borrell, the European Union's foreign policy official.
 
Borrell's spokesperson Nabila Misrali told Azadi Radio that the EU foreign ministers will discuss the situation of Iran, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Utopia and Montenegro.
 
Meanwhile, the special representatives of the European Union held a meeting on Afghanistan in Brussels on Friday, January 20.
 
Terhi Hakala, the representative of the European Union for Central Asia, wrote on her Twitter: "Afghanistan is still on the agenda of the European Union".
 
She further wrote: "The special representatives of the European Union and Central Asia gathered today in Brussels to explore possibilities to move the situation to a positive direction regarding the dire humanitarian crisis, the ban on the education of women and girls, the human rights situation.
 
It should be mentioned that Thomas Nicholson, the EU's special representative for Afghanistan, will also attend this meeting.
