Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Monitoring, Thousands of families in Maidan Wardak, Uruzgan, and Samangan provinces have received relief, according to the organization’s tweet of Tuesday, 31st May.
The bulk of the relief to Maidan Wardak province has been distributed to more than 500,000 people, according to the report.
According to the World Food Programme, 18 million people in Afghanistan will need immediate assistance and food and other basic necessities next month.
However, according to the organization, for 8 million of the aforementioned figure, funds and monetary donations are required in Afghanistan.
