At least four people have been killed in an ongoing clash between residents and Taliban militants over ushr and zakat, officials said Monday.

The clash began three days ago in Balay area of Deh Yak district when Taliban militants were collecting ushr and zakat.
Two militants including head of a Taliban commission were killed and another was wounded in the clash.
The battle also left two residents dead and four others injured.
