The statement says one of his sons naming Mohammad Hossain who suffers from mental disorder, opened fire on Mohammad Baqir while he was sleeping in bed.
“Unfortunately this morning, one of my sons, Mohammed Hussein, who had many years of mental illness and had become acute recently, assassins his brother Mohammed Baqer in the morning while sleeping.”
Police has confirmed the clashes near the Mohammad Mohaqiq in PD^3 of Kabul city, the second deputy chief of staff and leader of the Islamic Unity Party of Afghanistan, and said that Mohammad Mohaqiq's son was killed in the clash.
The Interior Ministry also confirms in a statement that Baqir and his younger brother Hussain Mohaqiq clashed with each other at around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
As a result, Baqir was killed and four of Mohaqiq’s bodyguards and Hussian were wounded in the incident, the statement added.
All wounded individuals were taken to the hospital, the MoI added.
