Yesterday, General Command of Police Special Units (GCPSU) launched a successful Counter-Terrorism operation to clear some of the areas from terrorists and enemies of peace and stability of Afghanistan.
The operation carried out in Khoshamand district, eastern Paktika province, as a result, 30 armed Taliban were killed.
GCPSU seized four rocket launchers, seven AK-47 rifles and some amount of ammunition as well.
11 different types of IEDs detected and two vehicles used by the militants were also destroyed in the operation.
In a separate report, two suspected men detained with two AK-47 rifles, six mortars and some amount of ammunition during a joint operation in Pul-e-Charki area, Kabul City, yesterday.
