Iran sanctioned 11 Americans for suppressing student protests
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that it has sanctioned 11 American people for violating human rights due to the suppression of protests by students and university professors in the United States in support of Palestine.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Iranian media reports, based on the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, this sanction is in line with the implementation of the law "Combating Human Rights Violations and Adventurous and Terrorist Actions of the United States of America in the Region" and Human Rights Violations, It was done because of the suppression of protests by students and university professors who supported Palestine.

The names of these people include William (Billy) Hitchens, Director of the Georgia Department of Public Safety, Eddie Greer, Georgia State Field Operations Commander, Linda J. Stump Cornick, University of Florida Police Chief, Pamela Smith, Washington DC Police Chief. Jeffrey Carroll, Executive Assistant to the Washington DC Police Chief, Carl Jacobsen, New Haven Police Chief, Shane Streepy, University of Texas Police Assistant Chief, Michael Cox, Boston Police Chief, Scott Dunning, Division Chief Indiana University Police Chief Michael Thompson is the Chief of Police at the University of Arizona and John Brocki is the Chief of Police at the University of California, Long Beach.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic has also announced that the sanctions against these persons include the ban on issuing visas and the impossibility of entering the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the blocking of bank accounts in the financial and banking system, and the confiscation of property and assets in the territory of the Islamic Republic.
