A car bomb was detonated close to 505 Boost Police Zone in southern Helmand on Wednesday afternoon, wounding 14 army soldiers, local officials confirmed.
AVA- At least 14 army soldiers were wounded in a car bomb detonated close to 505 Boost Police Zone in Lashkargah city, capital of Helmand on Wednesday, officials confirmed.
The blast happened at about 2:40pm local time while the soldiers were leaving the base to launch a military operation, a spokesman for provincial governor, Omar Zwak said.
However, he did not provide further details about the blast.
No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the blast yet.
