In Gaza, Palestinian factions have held a conference on Jerusalem al-Quds. The gathering condemned Israel's confiscation of Palestinian lands and the eviction of Palestinians from their homes.
A big seminar on Jerusalem al-Quds was held in Gaza city; the event took place at Rashad al-Shawwa cultural center and was attended by hundreds of Gazans including a number of representatives of Palestinian factions.
The speakers talked about the importance of the holy city and highlighted the suffering of Palestinian residents who face a systematic Israeli policy to drive them out of the city through house demolition, eviction of Palestinian families from their homes, confiscation of Palestinian land and the revocation of ID cards of Palestinian Jerusalemites.
In attendance was an Egyptian delegation headed by al-Nour party chairman who addressed the attendees, emphasizing that Islamic organizations should exert more efforts to help raise awareness about the dangers facing al-Aqsa mosque due excavations underneath the site
Last month, 1000's of Palestinians across the occupied West bank, Jerusalem Al-Quds and Gaza took part in the Global March to Jerusalem al-Quds and rallied towards Israeli checkpoints to protest the military occupation of the holy city. The holy city of Jerusalem Al-Quds has been occupied since 1967, since then the city has been subjected to an Israeli policy of Judaization.
