A senior UN diplomat believes the release of Afghanistan’s foreign reserves will help improve the current economic situation, not address humanitarian issues.

Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, has said in a meeting with Arnott Powell, the European Union Commissioner, that the world should not associate humanitarian issues with political issues.
