Thomas West, the US special representative for Afghanistan, said in a virtual meeting that the first meeting among the members of the trust fund is expected to be held next month and important decisions will be made about the frozen funds of Afghanistan.

In response to the news of the transfer of half of the frozen assets of Afghanistan to a bank in Switzerland, the Islamic Emirate, in addition to opposing this decision of the United States, demanded the return of these funds to the country's central bank.
