Western media have reported that 10 people were killed and 45 others were injured in the attacks of the Ukrainian army on the city of Belgorod in western Russia.
A senior officer of the Ukrainian army said in an interview that many foreign mercenaries recruited by the army prefer to flee rather than stay shortly after experiencing the horrors of the battlefield.

A Russian Defense Ministry spokesman has claimed that as Ukrainian troops advance into Ukraine, extremist Ukrainian nationalists have killed 32 Russian soldiers who were about to surrender.
