The Foreign Relations Committee of the US House of Representatives has announced that it is going to hold a hearing on the issue of examining the policy of the Biden administration towards Afghanistan since the United States left the country.

The U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Tuesday that he has appointed former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad as his special adviser on Afghanistan affairs.
