Taliban fighters' ambush on a convoy of army in Afghanistan's northern Kunduz province left 12 people dead, including four Afghan soldiers on Sunday, an army spokesman in the restive province said.
An officer of The intelligence dept. for western Herat province has been killed in a Taliban ambush in the Shindand district after 35 Taliban militants were killed in infighting there, an official said on Friday.
The Taliban militants ambushed a convoy of Afghan military forces in northern Faryab province on Monday, killing at least three soldiers and wounding five others, officials said.
Around 15 security force members, including eight Special Forces, were killed on Friday night in Bala Blok district in Farah province, provincial council members said Saturday.
