Police recovered and seized a quantity of ammunition in Panjshir province. Local security officials of the Islamic Emirate in Panjshir said.

Kabul Police Chief Wali Jan Hamza said that all police at checkpoints in the city will wear the new uniform once the distribution process has been completed.

The province has been the target of several insurgent attacks in the last few months.
