Days after the president's ouster, Sudan’s security and intelligence chief Salah Gosh has resigned, the country’s ruling military council said on Saturday.
Sudan's parliament on Monday approved a nationwide state of emergency of six months instead of one year as ordered by President Omar al-Bashir to quell protests against his iron-fisted rule.
Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir arrived in Syria’s capital of Damascus on Sunday in the first such visit by an Arab leader since the start of the Syrian conflict in 2011.
