The Afghanistan's Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement that, Afghan police arrested 23 people for their role in criminal activities in 34 provinces.

Officials in the Ministry of Interior Affairs say that last year, nearly 12,000 criminal incidents took place across the country, and more than 16,000 people were detained in connection with them.
