India's top diplomat was reacting to a statement posted on Twitter earlier in the day by Bhutoo-Zardari about “weaponizing terrorism” in which he urged SCO member nations to avoid using “terrorism” as a diplomatic instrument.
It was legitimate that the international community, especially the neighbours, today work together to ensure that there is no terrorism threat that comes out of Afghanistan. Jaishankar said.
The United States welcomed India's engagement in regional and international efforts for lasting peace in war-torn Afghanistan, said US special envoy to Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad during talks with India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.
